![]() Since Air Miami's demise in the mid '90s, Mark has continued to release various solo projects, as well as albums with his bands Cotton Candy and Flin Flon, and continues to run the TeenBeat label as well. The group broke up in 1994 with Phil pursuing a solo career and Mark and Bridget continued for a time as Air Miami, which released two singles and one album, me me me. EPs released around the same time period reveal an even more pronounced gap between pop and experimental elements. and 1993's Perfect Teeth (distributed by the influential British label 4AD Records) featured finely crafted pop songs interspersed with strange avant-garde percussive and sonic tracks (sometimes featuring nothing but white noise, beeps or sirens). The two full length albums released with this line up, 1992's Imperial f.f.r.r. Original members Mark (guitar) and drummer Phil Krauth were joined by Bridget Cross on bass in 1990 and their sound evolved into a minimalist but lively kind of pop. Developing from an experimental approach of never playing the same song twice, earlier material seemed to be influenced by everything from punk to funk to Ennio Morricone. It was one of Mark Robinson's projects for what would eventually become the TeenBeat label, also created by Mark while in high school. Unrest is an indie rock band from the Washington, D.C. Their second album Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil received platinum status, and their 2010 release Beyond Hell/Above Heaven was subject to widespread international critical acclaim, receiving double platinum in Denmark, platinum in Finland and Germany, and gold in Sweden and Austria. All of their studio albums have been certified gold in Denmark. The band is signed to Dutch label Mascot Records and has released five studio albums and one DVD. Their current line-up consists of vocalist and guitarist Michael Poulsen, guitarist Rob Caggiano (ex-Anthrax), and drummer Jon Larsen. They are inspired by classic rock and roll artists such as Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, as well as modern hard rock, thrash metal, heavy metal, alternative rock and hardcore groups. ![]() ![]() They play a fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal and rockabilly. Volbeat are a Danish metal band which was formed in Copenhagen. In December 2014, the band released their second major-label studio album, Talking Is Hard. It is composed of many of their original tracks from I Want! I Want! as well as new tracks that were written specifically for the album and were meant to reflect the kind of energy the band produced in their live shows. They signed to RCA Records and released their first major label album, their second overall, the self-titled Walk the Moon, in June 2012. In February 2011, Walk the Moon signed with Mick Management. The group independently released their debut album, I Want! I Want!, in November 2010, receiving airplay for the track "Anna Sun" on multiple Alternative radio stations. ![]() The band's name is derived from the song "Walking on the Moon" by The Police. Lead singer Nicholas Petricca started the band in 2008 while a student at Kenyon College and went through several member changes before finally coming together with current members Kevin Ray, Sean Waugaman, and Eli Maiman in 2010. In December 2009, they released 'Whisperer' as their second and last single with a tour video as the promotional clip.Walk the Moon (often stylized as WALK THE MOON) is an American pop rock band based in Cincinnati, Ohio. 'Past Praying For' is the first single from the EP and a music video was made. The record reached #44 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. This EP was available from their then-upcoming tours "The Secret Valentine Tour" and the "Craig Owens Tour", and is still available from the Fueled By Ramen webstore, and iTunes Store. After signing to Fueled By Ramen, the band began writing the EP, recording it with producer James Paul Wisner ( Underoath, Dashboard Confessional, The Academy Is., My American Heart).
